Life After the Pink Slip

Our ministry strives to assist those who have lost their job; those currently employed who are trying to update themselves in the current vernacular, and those thinking about re-entering the workforce. In all cases, our efforts are aimed at enhancing and improving a person’s image when being considered for employment. We provide instruction, workshops and helpful tips on subjects like effective resume preparation, cover letters, interviewing skills, transition skills, etc. We are driven by faith and positive energy to help people move forward with their lives while providing a supportive climate conducive to progress and success. In short, we are a resource for people within our parish who are looking to define or re-define themselves for whatever their future workplace requires. We will always attempt to do this with God’s help, prayer, and in keeping with God’s wishes that the dignity of all workers and all who seek our assistance be maintained. Meetings:

Our ministry was recently featured on WSB-TV in Atlanta!  You can watch the report online by clicking here. A new browser window will open, and, after a brief advertisement, you’ll see a short story reported by Ms. Jovita Moore.Message of Encouragement: “It isn’t for the moment you are struck that you need courage, but for the long uphill climb back to sanity and faith and security.

– Anne Morrow Lindbergh

As always, we are open and ready for general, open discussion on any relevant topic. While we work to have a general structure to our meetings, we keep the agenda ‘loose’ to accommodate what may come up.
