Lourdes Lunch

MISSION:
Provide HOT meals & Christian fellowship, TWICE a week to Atlanta’s homeless, hungry, and most vulnerable population.

Volunteers interact directly with program guest /participants and ensure that they have a wholesome HOT meal in an environment where they are treated with dignity and respect. Our volunteers consist of fellow parishioner, retirees, neighborhood residents, college & secondary school students.

Here are more details about this opportunity:
The group prepares, and serves lunch for approximately 200 – 300 guest at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church cafeteria.
Lunch is served at 11:30 – 12:30 on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
Adult volunteer & Youth aged 12-17 years of age may serve.
Volunteers are needed from 9:30 AM until 1:15 PM (which includes set-up/prep and clean-up)
Please note that ALL volunteers are required to complete an on-line background check, and attend a 3- hour Archdiocese volunteer orientation training course before serving as a volunteer w/ the Lourdes Lunch program.
