Lectors are volunteers who proclaim the Scripture readings during the Eucharist. At Lourdes, those willing to fulfill this ministry attend a monthly preparation session (first Tuesdays, 7 p.m. or first Saturdays, 10:30 a.m.) in order to be listed on the schedule for the following month. During the preparation session all the pertinent readings for that particular month are reviewed by the entire group. Typically, two lectors are assigned to each of our weekend liturgies.
