This year’s celebration of the MLK Jr. holiday has special significance: 2018 marks the 50th anniversary of Martin Luther King Jr.’s assassination. The Archdiocese of Atlanta has scheduled several events to honor the civil rights leader’s life and legacy. (One of them take place at Lourdes!) Here’s a list of when and where they are:
What: “Service and Sips” Young Adult Service Opportunity
When: Sunday, January 14 at 2:30 p.m.

Young adults will enjoy brunch and assemble travel hygiene kits for those in need. Donations are welcome.
What: Eucharistic Celebration
