ERACE

“Eracism” is the slogan of the group, ERACE, which was formed in New Orleans in the summer of 1993. We seek ways, through person-to-person communication, to show that we are committed to treating fellow human beings of all colors with love and respect. Our ERACE/Atlanta group, which has been meeting at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church since 2006, was the first ERACE affiliate to be established outside of New Orleans.

During our meetings,  we discuss articles and books that deal with racism. This is done in a well-structured, controlled and respectful manner under guidelines that are clearly defined and properly enforced by the discussion facilitator.

Anyone interested in participating in these very important discussions may just drop in unannounced.
