From November 7, 2015 to January 21, 2018, Dominicans around the world will be celebrating the 800th Jubilee (anniversary) of the approval of the Order of Preachers by Pope Honorius III in 1216. At Lourdes we’re blessed to have two members of the order in our midst: our Pastor Rev. Jeffrey Ott and Associate Pastor Rev. Bruce Ott. They are members of the Province of St. Martin de Porres, named after one of the order’s holiest members and the patron of the province that covers the southern states.
Join us in saying the jubilee prayer throughout the year in solidarity and appreciation of the Dominicans.
