It gives me great joy to inform you that our new Director of Liturgy and Music is Mr. Kenneth W. Louis! Kenneth will begin full time ministry here the weekend of September 26-27th. He has been asked to lead a choir for the Mass with Pope Francis in Washington, D.C. and will fulfill all of those obligations before moving here permanently. Please join me in welcoming Kenneth to his new home at Lourdes.
My deep appreciation goes to the Selection Committee members who worked tirelessly, diligently and efficiently to help with the selection process. We had some very gifted musicians to apply for the position and so we were blessed in that process.
Very special thanks to all of our talented, faithful choir members and musicians who showed themselves worthy of praise as they worked hard to stay focused on the ministry at hand.
My deepest appreciation to Rawn Harbor who has been a timely help and truly an angel of goodness sent from God. What a blessing he is to us!
Rawn and Kenneth have been and will continue to work in tandem over the next several months as we transition in the leadership. Please let’s keep Kenneth in prayer as he prepares to move and fulfill his obligations. Know that Rawn will continue serving here and Kenneth will be here at least once a month until he is here permanently. After Rawn finishes here, he hopefully will be able to get on with his life and his plans but he will always have an important relationship with Lourdes.
